RecurseChat supports folders and bookmarks to help you better organize your chat sessions and models. This feature allows for a more structured and efficient management of your conversations and AI models, letting you group related items together in a way that makes sense for your workflow.
Folders
Creating and Using Folders
You can create folders to group related chat sessions together. This helps in keeping your chat interface clean and organized. For even more granular organization, RecurseChat supports nested folders. This means you can create folders within folders, allowing for a hierarchical structure that suits your needs.
- To create a folder: you can click the dropdown button next to the leading sidebar.
- To create a nested folder: you can right-click on a folder and click “New Folder” option.
When create click “New Chat” when focusing on a conversation inside a folder, the new conversation will be placed inside the same folder.
Bookmarks
Bookmarking Chats
To bookmark a chat:
- Right-click on the chat you want to bookmark.
- Select the “Bookmark” option from the context menu.
Removing Bookmarks
To remove a bookmark:
- Right-click on the bookmarked chat.
- Select the “Remove Bookmark” option from the context menu.
Bookmarked chats are easily accessible, allowing you to quickly find your most important or frequently used conversations.
Multi-Select Management
RecurseChat offers a multi-select feature for efficient management of multiple chat sessions at once.
How to Multi-Select
- To select multiple consecutive chats: Click on the first chat, hold down the
⇧
key, then click on the last chat in the range you want to select. - To select multiple non-consecutive chats: Hold down the
⌘
key (on Mac) and click on each chat you want to select.
Actions with Multi-Select
Once you’ve selected multiple chats, you can perform various actions such as:
- Moving them to a folder
- Bookmark them
- Deleting them
This multi-select feature significantly speeds up the process of organizing and managing your chat sessions.
Tips
- The folder structure you create for organizing your chats will also be reflected in the model selector dropdown, making it easy to find and select models that are organized in the same familiar hierarchy.
